In the early 1800s hollow brass, nickel & copper beads were traded to American Indians by French Traders. These were historically used on breastplates, necklaces, chokers, bandoliers/bandileers & miscellaneous other items of adornment. These are fairly smooth round beads. These have not been made in over 75 years & are available now for use on current items.
